Three Crowns Must Agree
A summit date can be agreed upon only when at least three kings consent to it.
NINE NATIONS · NINE CROWNS
Where nine rulers gather beyond the reach of the world.
“When the power entrusted to the Council becomes a weapon against the nations, the crowns must gather once more.”
WHY THE CROWNS GATHERED
The nine kings discovered that the Nexus Council was misusing its authority and gradually consuming the power of their nations.
What had once been entrusted to the Council had become a source of growing imbalance. The kings formed the Royal Summit to stand together, challenge that authority, and reclaim the power they had lost.
THE ROYAL PROTOCOL
A summit date can be agreed upon only when at least three kings consent to it.
Once a date is agreed upon, the other kings must be informed approximately ten days before the meeting.
All nine kings must attend. If a king cannot attend personally, a representative of equal status must take their place.
Each king may bring no more than two champions. They must remain outside the summit chamber.
The chamber has nine doors and nine chairs, one reserved for each of the nine kings.
No human knows the summit's location. The carriages and their horses alone know the route that leads there.
Regardless of where a journey begins, every traveler takes the same amount of time to reach the summit's location.
THE NINE CROWNS
Nine nations. Nine rulers. One gathering hidden from the world.
A crown may be seen. Its bearer remains beyond the reach of an unfinished record.
THE SUMMIT REMAINS SECRET
The route cannot be found by ordinary travel. The gathering cannot be reached by knowing where to look.
